Ministry: Wheat export duty set at 2,934.3 rbl/tn from Oct 19

MOSCOW, Oct 14 (PRIME) -- Russia’s wheat export duty will rise to 2,934.3 rubles per tonne from 1,926.8 rubles, the barley duty will increase to 2,479.9 rubles per tonne from 1,632 rubles, and the corn duty will fall to 2,410.1 rubles per tonne from 3,114.1 rubles from October 19 through October 25, as seen by PRIME in the Agriculture Ministry’s materials on Friday.

The duty is calculated basing on the indicative prices of U.S. $308.3 per tonne of wheat, $279.8 per tonne of barley, and $278.2 per tonne of corn.

Since June 2021, Russia has been using a flexible system of grain duty calculation. In July 2022, the duty’s calculation was shifted to rubles.
